I don’t know about you, but trying to combine my cooking hobby with young children’s food cravings can feel like a feat. And at the end of a busy school or work day, who wants to jump over obstacles in the kitchen? not me!
That’s why we’re putting together a quick, easy and delicious meal for a month that won’t completely ignore our nutritional hopes and dreams (I’m looking at you, frozen dinosaur-sized chicken nuggets!) ۔ Choose from a range of recipes that will satisfy everyone – from healthy, home-made fallbacks to nights when active eaters prevail (we make mac and cheese and oven-baked chicken tenders). Like Staples (to talk) to come up with new ideas that will make the family happy. Colorful vegetables (hello, barretto bowls!)
And if all else fails, get your tongue out of this young, stubborn diner, and shout, “Wow! Look at this! You have sprouted a new flavor!”
That’s how I prepared my six-year-old to try the Bolognese.

The recipe actually came from Sicily from Dylan’s husband’s great-grandmother, who taught it to her (very Irish) mother to make sure she knew how to master the best meatballs. It worked! Light, tasty and sharp, if they sit in the sauce too long, they will start to break down. So, eat!
